Had a play at making my own blossoms...got directions from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ly2QBVIrxAY the instructions are in Dutch but then it's the visual that you need. Now I don't have the Retro Daisy Punches...so I altered the idea by using Kaiser flowers to start with. The bottom layer is 3 big flowers, topped by 1 medium flower and then finally a small flower. the rest of the steps are the same. I used a bamboo skewer to help separate the petals. Hit them with a heat gun and then added mist and dried again...started playing with other brands of flowers in the same combinations....note to self - not all paper flowers are colour fast...lol...really pleased with the result.

The travelling bead shop is back at the local shopping centre...scored the metal book marks and added beads and charms...these hang from the kids scrapbook albums...really love the carousel unicorn...

This Vintage charm was made using a photo frame charm with a Bella square bling added where the photo should be and with the addition of a jump ring and small butterfly charm to finish.

Started this one and had to make a few fix ups....the mist on the background buckled the paper...lots of flattening and it's not too bad now. The butterflies are cut from paper napkins and mounted on plain cs with Mod Podge to seal. This photo came from my Mother's cousin, it is a pic of my Great Aunt and cute little me. haha had to do some serious editing to the photo, it had major stripes right across my face..fixed and as good as new.
