Has time stood still yet???????????

Where has my time gone....ohhh hang on...there is only 24 hr in a day and only 7 days in a week....Hmmm that's not leaving me much 'ME' time...Between Friday night and recent weekend ANC activities, sick relief at school, Taxi driver and Driving Instructor, Cleaner, cook and Tutor and taking on a 3rd casual/part-time job, I have absolutely no time spare....I understand why some animals eat their young.....I was once told that the adolescent years are the worst...yeah sure, I thought....I have no issue with them growing up and being independant, for crying out loud they have been expected to make their own lunches from very young...if they can do that they won't starve. I can't understand the total selfishness that they show, that lack of respect......sure spread their wings but don't disrespect those that have been there for you....Ok so the pics below are of The Boy's first car, he's pretty stoked with it, but so far "I love you Mum" doesn't appear to show the "Thanks Mum and Dad for going out of your way to sort out the details and check it out and make sure it is suitable. And for loaning me the money." Yes, rest assured he will be paying us back, what sort of life lesson would it be if we just gave it to him?

I did find time to create another gift box, sadly in the rush I forgot a pic, and I was quite pleased in the finished product, too. Ohh well, time for my next taxi job...

Quick update.....

Finished the Wedding Invites I was helping with...no pics...
This was the box I personalised for Miss Megg's friend for her birthday, quite simple, a bit of Bertie- for the Bug Lovers; Font was from Ashlyn's Alpha and the label matt has slipped my mind for now. Changed the ribbon that was on the box...seriously can 'they' not match colours even just a little. The lid scallop edge was hand done. The flowers and butterflies are from a wall hanging from the cheap shop...added some glitz to finish..Another to make for this weekend coming..

Ok so maybe I just take on too much at times....We are 3 weeks into the school term and even without a formal position, I'm already spending loads of hours at school. I guess it's the beginning of year rush. Sooooo right now I've taken on the job of Parent Year Level Representative for the Goob's year. This involves communicating with Teachers and Parents from this year level and assisting in organising/co-ordinating events. Just completed collating the Parent information for tomorrow's meeting. *Last minute course opening for me to attend a YA Assistant Instructor Course, which requires two Lesson Plans, one of which I will be presenting....On Saturday I might add and it's at least an hours drive to get there. Tearing my hair out on this one....I plan 'my way' which includes lots of adlib and spontenaety....Ummmm not this time...this one has to be ANC Structure...I will feel sooo much better when I can actually get back in a boat and sail...* Had to squeeze in, last weekend, a Swim Test to prove I could swim so that I could attend the YA Course....*I offered to help out a friend complete some Wedding Invites that she was asked to do....luckily for me they aren't tooo urgent...a few days 'til deadline....*The washing machine is still broken and needs nursing through cycles....no more set and forget for now.....*Got called today to do some relief for Th and F....ohhh and Friday arvos for Yr 3, I'm implementing an Art program, sadly this is for Love but I can't wait to get started....
I think I'm busier now than when I was employed....LOL...
No time for creating and I'm having serious withdrawals.......Poor Bertie looks at me with a sad face....

Ohhh I did get a new phone... a certain someone needed a new one and mine was out of contract and the one he wanted impressed me tooo...of course it made sense for me to get the same as him so that 'we' could learn it together....right? RIGHT?....haha. Google htc Desire....very iPhone ish but without the apple hassles...a bit flash and technological tooo...My Calendar has events set almost everyday....

A proud moment...I've lost just over 8 kg, supporting a certain someone who has lost an amazing 25 cm( just shy of 10") from his waist, in just 11 weeks....more Google homework..check out Dukan Diet.

Off for now, yet another load in the wash that needs some nursing.
