Some more creating....

Well it seems I'm creating enough to change my wall displays at home.....just 2 more LO's and I will have changed each pocket. Gotta love that... Both of these LO's have been inspired by My Dears, in some way or another. The main background PP's are from a reject pile that Miss handed over on my last visit...XXX Miss....ok so I've got them close at hand and am being a bit lazy by not walking/rolling across to the other side of the room to my PP tower...haha....Now, I'm not known to follow the trends immediately...(birds, mist, journal tags etc about 3 years late) so when I decided that I like the bunting accents, I chose to give it a go...quite please with the effect on both...the fixing of them under a tab in the 2nd LO is straight a straight lift from one belonging to Miss. The embellie at the bottom right on the 2nd LO somewhat resembles the trend of 'prize ribbons' that I've seen a fair bit online of late....both LO's have included old and new photos...I figure it's one way of tackling the old photo boxes full of prints....It also gives me that emotional feeling of time passed, and how much they have grown...time to get my head back down and working on some more..

And yet another....

I've been busy creating...making the most of the School Holidays...I recently purchased the DCWV Mariposa Stack and a Vintage Stack by Grace Taylor with some matching journal cards/die cut shapes...I used Herbie to cut a flourish and used the negative to create a template to create the pearl design, inspired by the prima 'say it with pearls' collections....I created the smaller flowers using the method I used with the multiple sized flowers...only this time I used 3 smallest flowers and then after dry, I adhered them to the same size flower as a base......All comments are very welcome.

Yes finally the scrap drought has broken...I have finally created...both LO's are inspired by two from My Dear Miss... unusually I have used the same colour scheme...Pink and Turquoise...go figure...Lets hope the next few days are just as productive..fingers crossed.

She's changed in a week...

The first two photos are the most recent...her ears are now standing up all of the time...she loves her chew sticks and so far it's saving her chewing on things she shouldn't...she still sleeps really well and isn't using her 'voice'...which is a good thing because a yappy dog will not make for a happy house..her tail is now touching her back and is soo cute...she loves her rope ball and I couldn't resist the pic of her with her 'Daddy's' shoe....it's bigger than she is...haha..she has lots of toys and one of her favourites is a small plastic softdrink bottle with marbles inside and ribbons tied under the lid.....she is still fluffy which is nice..She knows her name and knows 'STOP' for when she is getting a tad over playful....I'm teaching her that lap time is quiet time....rough play is always on the floor.... I finally managed to find a bling 'I' to complete her collar...I think the collar is heavier than she is...haha

Long awaited Scrap Area update..

Ok... so when I uploaded the pics I had them in view from the left of my room around to the right...but of course, somehow they are now out of order...My Space wraps around 3 walls.....A clean up was necessary due to Ash's 18th party. This is the first time I have closed my desk since the move to this position...well all I can say is that I have always had something mid-creation..
